How do I download a private Facebook video?
Use the private video downloader. You paste the page source of a video you can already see; we extract the video links without ever asking for your password.
Where are downloaded videos saved on iPhone?
In Files › Downloads. From there tap Share › Save Video to move them to Photos.
Can I convert a Facebook video to MP3?
Not at the moment. Facebook stores audio and video together in the MP4, which you can convert with any free audio converter.
Do you keep copies of the videos?
No. Videos stream straight from Facebook to your device and are never stored on our servers.
Do downloaded Reels have a watermark?
We do not add any watermark. You get the file as Facebook serves it.
Can I download Reels from private profiles?
No. Only public Reels can be fetched from a link.
What quality are Facebook Reels?
Usually 720p or 1080p vertical video, depending on the upload.
Do I need to give you my Facebook password?
Never. You copy the page source in your own browser. Any site that asks for your password to download a video should be avoided.
Is the page source stored?
No. It is processed in memory to find the video links and discarded immediately.
Can I do this on iPhone?
Safari on iPhone does not show page source, so please use a computer or Chrome on Android.
Why does it say no video was found?
Make sure the video plays on the page you copied and that you copied the complete source. Try the video's own page rather than your news feed.
Is it legal to download Facebook videos?
Downloading for personal use is generally tolerated, but videos belong to their creators. Do not redistribute or monetise content without permission. See our Disclaimer.
Will the uploader know I downloaded their video?
No. Downloads happen through our server and are not linked to your Facebook account.
Can I download Facebook Stories or Live videos?
Live videos can be downloaded after the broadcast ends, like a normal video. Stories require a login and are not supported.
